Rihanna was spotted leaving Phillipe Chow in New York last night (Updated 5.12.13) :
After taking her tour from Florida and most recently, Georgia — Rihanna is back in New York! Her next show will be in Baltimore. Rihanna has been dishing out one amazing after after another, if you’ve gotten behind, visit “Rihanna’s Closet” to catch up! Rihanna was seen leaving a restaurant in New York and attending a party at Greenhouse nightclub.
Rihanna of course started her outfit with what seems to be her new favorite cap, her “FUKK” Snapback from +Fresh.I.Am+. If you haven’t bought yours yet, feel free to get the cotton cap for $75 at the link below.
Rihanna started off her look with a 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket at her shoulders. You may remember earlier this month, Rihanna was spotted removing this very same bomber in Vancouver. To refresh your memory visit our post (here).
This long sleeve shearling orange jacket features black ribbed wool blend trimmings at the collar, cuffs and hem. Also, the jacket has a concealed zip closure at the front and concealed pockets at the waist. Unfortunately, this jacket is sold out on ssense.com, as it was on final sale.
Lets discuss Rihanna’s sunglasses. It took me a while to track these down, but I finally found them! Her glasses are from Linda Farrow by The Row. The Row was established in 2006 by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen, and includes a range of ready-to-wear attire, eyewear, and handbags. These black metal sunglasses, feature round frameless grey lenses, transparent nose pads, and leather panels at the temples.
Rihanna then wore yet another piece from none other than Givenchy. Rihanna and Riccardo Tisci, lead designer for the brand, have struck up quite the friendship, and he’s made several custom pieces for her already, from her Diamonds World Tour costume to her personalized jersey with her face on it she wore to the Miami Heat game!
Rihanna opted for Givenchy’s Sleeveless Rottweiler Tee. The “jersey” style top features a crew neckline and a rottweiler print on the front. With a straight hem and pullover style, the top has a slightly boxy fit. Rihanna is of course, no stranger to the ‘Rottweiler’ theme in Givenchy’s designs.
Rihanna was first seen in the Givenchy Rottweiler sweatshirt in November of 2011 (here), coupled with a Long Wool Givenchy Bomber Jacket, and Fall 2011 Alexander Wang Cummerbund Track Pants. She was then spotted in the Givenchy Rottweiler t-shirt in September of 2012 (here), along with Alexander McQueen Contrast Arm Sunglasses, Balmain Homme Jeans, Giuseppe Zanotti High-Top Studded Sneakers, and an Alexander Wang Leather Rocco Handbag.
Rihanna coupled this top with a black leather skirt from Miu Miu. This leather pleated skirt features an elasticated waistband and a suede reverse with a concealed zip fastening at its side. You can purchase this skirt in red (here), from Net-a-Porter.
Rihanna rounded off her outfit with Saint Laurent pumps. She wore a metallic version of these pumps not long ago at Supperclub with Chris Brown. You can revisit that look (here). Her Paris Escarpin Pumps with an ankle strap pump are designed with black and white leather. They feature the signature “Saint Laurent” pointed toe and has an internal platform with a suspended high heel. These beautiful heels are available for $895 at the link below.
Purchase: Saint Laurent Paris Escarpin Pumps
Rihanna here again wore her Swirl Cross & Dual Vine rings from Love Muse. She was first spotted in the “Swirl Cross” ring a few days ago while enjoying her “pool day” in Miami (here) and in the “Dual Vine” rings at a Miami Heat game (here). On her wrist, you will notice she is again wearing her fan-given “Hinged Bangle” bracelet from Kate Spade. You can get all three pieces below.
