Rihanna visits a mosque while in Abu Dhabi:
Rihanna has now traveled to Abu Dhabi in honor of her Diamonds World Tour. She had previously spent a few days in South Africa for the same reason. Before leaving Cape Town, she enjoyed a day out on a few ATVs with her crew (here). Be sure to visit that post to catch up on what she wore. Rihanna’s show in Abu Dhabi tonight went extremely well, and she even wore a new costume! Check out our post (here) for the deeds on that. But before her show, she spent her day at a water park and even visited a mosque in the area. Let’s review what she wore.
Rihanna respectfully honored the conservative attire of Abu Dhabi and wore a long jumpsuit with a well placed ‘hijab’. After looking for the major part of the day, I believe it’s safe to say that Rihanna is wearing Stella McCartney’s Ofelia Stretch-Crepe Jumpsuit. This $1,445 jumpsuit features a front ribbed insert, buttoned cuffs, slit pockets, pressed creases through the legs, and a hook & zip fastening at the back.
Rihanna kept things simple with just a few fashionable, gold accessories. One of which is this tassel necklace designed by Saint Laurent. This necklace features the ‘Saint Laurent’ logo engraved within a black onyx square pendant and a chain with tassel drop detailing that retails at $1,898. Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent Spring 2013 debut features this piece. Rihanna first wore it in Paris (here), during the month of June.
Rihanna finished off her ensemble with these Gold Hangisi Jewel Satin Pumps designed by Manolo Blahnik. These $965 pumps show off a timeless shape of elegant satin, finished with luminous jewel embellishment. They also offer a self-covered 4″ (100mm) heel. With Rihanna’s bold red lip and nail polish in these photos, we can’t help but be reminded of Rihanna’s “RiRi Hearts MAC” Holiday Collection that is set to release in December. That collection will offer her signature “RiRi Woo” lipstick along with “RiRi Woo” Nail Lacquer. You can review the entire collection along with the prices of each piece (here).
