Rihanna co-stars in Eminem’s single and music video, “The Monster”:

Rihanna traveled to Detroit in late November to assist Eminem in shooting the video for his smash single, “The Monster”. The song has brought major success to both Eminem and Rihanna as it leads the Billboard Hot 100 Chart for the second consecutive week thus far. The video blends memories of Eminem’s past videos: “My Name Is”, “The Way I Am” and “Lose Yourself with new shots that even took fans back to the days of his 2001 Grammy performance with Elton John. Now, we will take a look at what Rihanna wore during this video with stylings by Mel Ottenberg.

In the opening scenes of “The Monster”, present-day Eminem faces his inner demons head on by digging up old memories with the help of his therapist — played by Rihanna. During this scene, she wore a high collar top designed by The Row. The sleeveless ‘Lidea’ top retails at $1,017.00 and features a turtle neck and a loose fit.

Rihanna then wore a Lanvin skirt. This $990.00 pencil skirt knitted from high-stretch ponte and offers a classic silhouette that works well with a number of styles. You can purchase one for your own closet at the link below. Rihanna completed this look with heels from Céline.

In the second look for the video, Rihanna wore a leather bomber jacket designed by G.V.G.V for Opening Ceremony. This piece was actually featured in black on the runway of G.V.G.V’s Fall 2013 Collection. Rihanna’s jacket is currently unavailable at Opening Ceremony’s online store, but we will keep you abreast as to if and when that changes.

Underneath her bomber jacket, Rihanna rocked a serious corset from renowned designer, Vivienne Westwood. The one she wore in the video is from Vivienne’s Spring 2013 Collection. She then completed her look with jeans from the New York brand, Tripp and heels from Manolo Blahnik

By way of jewelry, Rihanna wore Lynn Ban’s Victorian Jet Cameo Choker from Lynn’s archive. She first wore this choker while attending the runway show for Opening Ceremony (here). Along with this piece she wore a few custom rings from Lynn that we will discuss shortly. Rihanna also wore jewelry from Yossi Harari.
