Rihanna was spotted in TriBeCa, New York on July 28th, 2009:
Here on Rihanna Overdose, we love to revisit Rihanna’s outfits from 2009. A couple of weeks ago, we revealed the details on all of Rihanna’s pieces from the Parisian fashion label, Balmain. In this week’s installment of Vintage RiRi, we will be discussing Rihanna’s look from one of her many days in New York during the summer of 2009.
On July 28th 2009, Rihanna was spotted out and about in New York wearing a lovely dress from the brand, Ever. This Pleated Silk Catania Elastic Waist Dress retailed at $207.00 and features a deep crossover v-neck, pleated detailing at the shoulder, along with draped patch pockets on the pleated skirt.
Rihanna complimented her dress with these beautiful sandals from designer, Azzedine Alaïa. These statement Python Bell Sandals retailed at $1,746.00 and featured python snakeskin with six different straps with lots of bells on the ankle straps as well as across the toes. These shoes have a 4.5 inch heel.
Keeping in step with the reptilian theme, Rihanna accessorized with silver and gold vermilion snake bracelets from Antonio Palladino. These bracelets would’ve set you back $649.00 originally. They have both long since sold out.
