Here’s a look back at Rihanna’s fashion forward looks at Emilio’s Ballato:
Rihanna has always had her favorites when it comes to restaurants. She absolutely loves Italian food! For instance, time and time again we’ve seen her enjoying dinner at the Italian eateries, Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles and Da Silvano in New York. Well, another Italian restaurant that tops her list in NY is Emilio’s Ballato. In today’s installment of Vintage RiRi, we’ll be taking a look at some of her fashion-forward outfits that she’s worn to this restaurant over the years.
One of her earliest sightings at Emilio’s Ballato was in 2009. 2009 is actually one of our favorite years when it comes to Rihanna’s fashion. We’ve given you extensive looks at all of her major looks during that time period. If you haven’t checked out our Rated R Era Fashion Recap, you can check it out at the very bottom of this post. Rihanna headed to the restaurant in a chic One-Shoulder Dress designed by Alexander Wang and her favorite Miu Miu Lace Up Peep Toe Boots.
Here, we fast-forward to 2010 where Rihanna rocked a bold red do! She was spotted on August 10th at Emilio’s Ballato wearing a grey pantsuit. Her Glen Plaid Blazer and matching Plaid Trousers are from the label, A.L.C.. The jacket retailed at $623.00.
Of course, her look wouldn’t have been complete without a few accessories. She wore Miu Miu’s Studded Oxford Flat Shoes. These $650.00 patent leather lace-up oxford shoes feature silver studs and a rubber sole. Rihanna then carried a bag from Vlieger and Vandam. This ‘Guardian Angel’ Tote runs for $529.00 and is made from full grain aniline hides from Western European bulls. The bag also comes with a detachable shoulder strap.

Rihanna dined at Emilio’s Ballato a number of times in the year 2012 as well. On March 13th, Rihanna was spotted at the restaurant wearing a Trapstar London Bobble Hat along with a Fever Torn Denim Jacket from the brand Acne’s Resort 2012 Collection. She completed her look with a pair of Alexander Wang Stretchy Leggings and Christian Louboutin Black Pumps. Rihanna’s Cut-Out Leggings retail at $153.00. You can get a pair below.
The last looke we’ll be reviewing from her dine-in’s at Emilio’s Ballato is one from a seperate occasion in 2012. In October of that year, Rihanna arrived at the restaurant wearing a $215.00 Pushbutton “Original” Cropped Tee. This two-tone oversized cropped neoprene sweatshirt with metallic gold detail throughout went well with her adorable pixie cut. This tee features a leather ‘pushBUTTON’ patch sewn on at back and has a boatneck collar.
Rihanna then wore Citizens of Humanity Avedon Slick Skinny Jeans in the color Axel. These black skinny jeans feature 5-pocket styling and a single-button closure, with tonal ‘h’ stitching at the back pockets. You can get a pair for $178.00 at the link below. She completed her look with Manolo Blahnik Chaos Cuff Sandals and a Melody Ehsani Armor Dillo Ring.
