FENTY x PUMA
Rihanna’s new FENTY x PUMA Sneaker, The Trainer:
Rihanna has a new sneaker coming out and has began to fuel the flames of its release by updating her Instagram with the photo you see at the header of our post. Rihanna says the shoe is a new release from her collection with the brand. Rihanna just had an amazing debut during New York Fashion Week and we covered it ALL! Take a look at our previous post for the complete rundown. But for now let’s take a look at her newest product: THE TRAINER.
The release of Rihanna’s shoe, “The Trainer” is new to us but she herself has already worn them footwear. If you remember this look above, she was spotted heading out in New York on August 11th of last year.
So far the shoes are set to release in three different color ways: red, Black and White. Take a look at all of the colors below. The tonal colors have been named, Whiteout, Blackout and Red Alert.
We’ve updated this post with HQ images of the sneaker from all angles so you can get a good look at the product. Enjoy!
As of June 15th Rihanna has added an all new color-way to the line up of trainers! You can shop for the shoe in GREY!
Are you ready to get YOUR hands on THE TRAINER?! Here’s a list of retailers that you can get your pair from:

Rihanna herself has had a strong hand in the promotion of the shoe by modeling the footwear herself! In this promotional photo, Rihanna sports the $180.00 The Trainer Sneaker in “White Out”. In addition, she also sports a piece from designer, Fannie Schiavoni. She is wearing a £640.00 ($887.00 USD) Diamond Pattern Acrylic Dress from her Spring 2015 Collection. Rihanna is not new to Fannie’s designs. If you recall, we discussed the pieces she wore from her collection during her Rockstar 101 video that premiered back in 2010. Fannie revealed to me that she was working as Rihanna’s Assistant Creative Director during that time period. Head over to our Rated R Fashion Recap for deets on all the music videos from her Rated R Album.
In this second photo of Rihanna modeling THE TRAINER in the color, “Black Out” she is sporting a chic Fall 2012 Alexander McQueen Silver Mirror Visor. The visor retails at $475.00. Interestingly enough, Glamour Magazine predicted she would wear the headpiece three years ago.
In addition to that, Rihanna took her futuristic look to the next level by wearing a €360 ($400.70 USD) Nomia Hooded Metallic Parka. This parka features a silver-tone and is made of a cotton blend. Unfortunately, it is now sold out.
The finally look from the ad campaign for The Trainer included Rihanna modeling the Red Alert FENTY x PUMA The Trainer with a Wanda Nylon Fall 2015 Menswear Black Bomber Jacket.
