Rihanna shoots video for her lead single, “Work”:
Rihanna has been filming the video for her lead single, “Work” from her brand new album, “ANTI” for some time now. If you’ve been following the songstress’ every move you probably remember the Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior stamped horses from another round of filming. Part of the video is being shot in Toronto as well. In this portion of the video, Rihanna hits the dance floor with her friends in true ‘island gal’ fashion. Speaking of which, let’s jump right into the fashion!
We will be covering the entire video once it is finished and released to the public. However, in the clips from the set that Rihanna posted on Snapchat, she’s sporting a look from Tommy Hilfiger’s Spring 2016 Collection. With this collection, Tommy took viewers on a mini tropical escape where the runway was a boardwalk, complete with its own beach-bar shack. Rihanna’s look which features crochet detailing in the well known red, green and yellow color-way, has a round neckline complete with a bikini underneath. Checkout the complete collection below. Thanks also goes to Rihanna’s style team — Jahleel you rock!
Rihanna used a Creepy Yeha Tahliah Caged Choker as an accessory to her dress. Above, you’ll find an image of the piece in black.
Now that the video has released to the public (February 22nd) we can dig deep into some exclusives! The first portion of the video was directed by Anna Trevelyan. We have the lowdown on the jewelry Rihanna wore in the video courtesy of Lynn Ban! In this scene, Rihanna wears Lynn’s Hand-Painted Enamel Scarab Cuff Bracelet from the 1920’s. She also wore a custom thigh garter from Venomiss. She was also given a Tri-Chain Red and Gold Crystal Garter for the video created by Kerin Rose Gold of A-Morir Eyewear.
Rihanna also donned a beautiful, Large Multi-Color Thierry Mugler Cocktail Ring. She also wore a 1960’s Cocktail Ring from Lynn’s vintage collection. Included in Rihanna’s rings is this insanely awesome $290.00 Jennifer Fisher Brass Cylinder Ring. You can purchase one of your own at www.jenniferfisherjewelry.com. Her jewelry also included pieces form Erickson Beamon and D’Orazio.
We direct your focus back to this image. Rihanna also wore an Alexis Bittar $275.00 Cystal Encrusted Frog Ring. If you looked close enough during the video you will notice the dangling cherries from a chain on her leg. These too are from Alexis — which she was kind enough to provide me with an exclusive image of!
Rihanna wasn’t the only one decked out in Alexis Bittar! Take an exclusive look at another Bittar piece featured in the video!
