Rihanna attends the Billboard Music Awards wearing Zac Posen, Norma Kamali and Max Azria :
Rihanna is set to perform TOMORROW at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards! The songstress has stomped her way up the Billboard Charts several times throughout her career, most recently with her smash-hit, Work featuring Drake. The song landed the number one spot on the Hot 100 and stayed there for nine consecutive weeks. The track also added to Rihanna’s legacy as an artist by becoming her 14th No.1 pushing her past the record set by Michael Jackson and tying her with The Beatles! Today, on Rihanna Overdose, we’ll be taking you down memory lane for a bit to cover Rihanna’s past looks at the Billboard Music Award shows she’s attended. Let’s get started.
Rihanna definitely looked like a living DOLL the first time she attended the Billboard Awards back in 2006. She wore a cute, halter dress designed by Zac Posen. The white cocktail dress was featured within his Spring 2007 Collection. Rihanna shines bright that night by taking home not one, not two, but THREE awards for Female Artist of the Year, Pop 100 Artist of the Year and Female Hot 100 Artist of the Year.
Rihanna didn’t attend another ceremony again until 2011, and of course, when she did it was another huge night for her! Rihanna walked the red carpet in a daring number from designer Max Azria. Her all-white suit with a white blouse to match, was from his Spring 2011 Collection.
Rihanna paired this look with $650.00 Christian Louboutin Pigalle Nude Pumps and jewelry from Jack Vartanian and Solange-Azagury-Partridge. Here’s a closer look at her accessories! The Jack Vartanian 18k White and Yellow Gold Emerald 51.90ct Ring with Diamonds and Solange Azagury-Partridge Beauties Fringe Tassel Necklace she wore were definitely well paired with her look.
The night’s fashion didn’t end with the red carpet! Rihanna also performed her hit, S&M with pop princess, Britney Spears. She sang the remixed track wearing a white Vogue Mio Swimsuit designed by Norma Kamali. That night Rihanna took home awards for Top Female Artist, Top 100 Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, as well as Top Rap Song for her track Love the Way You Lie with Eminem.
