Today is a huge day for Rihanna and we would like to say first and foremost that we couldn’t be more proud of her!! At today’s MTV Video Music Awards she is the honoree of the night for the coveted Michael Jackson Vanguard Award. The award was created in 1984 as a significant lifetime achievement honor, recognizing the honoree for their accomplishments in philanthropy, film, music and fashion.
As you know, Rihanna has made great strides in all four arenas with her Clara Lionel Foundation for cancer research, her acting roles as young Gratuity Tucci in Home and Battleship as well as her unprecedented status as a fashion icon in her own right. We need not even began to unravel the accolades she’s racked up as a international sensation in the music world with an outstanding number of hits placing her in the same group as legendary artists, such as The Beatles. Tonight is her night and we’re here to drop the details on all things fashion!
